What is covered by the warranty?

The Omilu Cloud® is equipped with a CE-certified electrical mechanism, including the motor, controls and power supply. The complete mechanism is covered by a 2-year warranty under normal household use.

This warranty covers:

  • Defects to the motor or electronics
  • Problems with the controls
  • Technical faults within the internal system

If a defect occurs within this period, parts will be repaired or replaced free of charge, provided the defect has not been caused by improper use, moisture, overloading or unauthorised modifications.

The upholstery of the Omilu Cloud® is made from carefully selected fabrics. We provide a 12-month warranty against material and manufacturing defects, including:

  • Loose seams
  • Irregularities in the fabric caused by a manufacturing defect
  • Fabric or weaving defects present upon delivery

What is not covered by the warranty?

The warranty does not cover:

  • Discolouration caused by sunlight or artificial UV light
  • Normal wear and tear, pilling or fuzzing
  • Stains, moisture marks or damage caused by improper care
  • Damage caused by aggressive cleaning products or abrasive materials
  • Damage resulting from improper use, overloading or unauthorised modifications

The warranty applies to normal household use and correct assembly. Minor variations in fabric texture or colour may occur and are not automatically considered material or manufacturing defects.

Would you like to submit a warranty claim?

Please email info@omiludesign.nl with your order number, a description of the issue and clear photographs. Once we have reviewed your claim, we will contact you regarding the next steps.

If necessary, the chair will be collected and returned by our logistics partner within the Netherlands and Belgium. For other countries, additional transport costs may apply.

Delivery

Free standard delivery

The Omilu Cloud® is delivered to your home free of charge as standard.

White-glove delivery

Would you prefer a fully assisted delivery? In the Netherlands, you can choose white-glove delivery for €95. You can select this option during checkout.

Delivery time

Delivery time depends on when your order is placed. The current expected delivery date is always shown on the product page. Before delivery, you will receive confirmation of the delivery date and an estimated time window.

Return policy

If the Omilu Cloud® does not fully meet your expectations, you can register your return within 14 days of receiving your order.

Netherlands

Returns within the Netherlands are handled by our delivery service. The chair will be collected from your home. The return fee is €75 and will be deducted from the amount refunded to you.

International orders

For international returns, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. The return must be registered with Omilu Design in advance.

Return conditions

The chair must:

  • be complete;
  • have been handled with care;
  • where possible, be returned in its original packaging;
  • be free from damage caused by use beyond what is necessary to assess the product.

If the chair has been used beyond what is necessary to determine its nature, characteristics and functionality, a reduction in value may be deducted from the refund.

Registering a return

Email info@omiludesign.nl with your order number and return request. Once your return has been registered, you will receive further instructions.

Withdrawal form

You may use our model withdrawal form, although this is not mandatory. The form is available via the following link: withdrawal form. You can also return the completed form by email to info@omiludesign.nl.

Returns must be registered with us in advance.

Maintenance instructions

The Omilu Cloud® is upholstered in carefully selected performance fabrics suitable for daily use. To keep the fabric and finish looking their best for as long as possible, we recommend treating stains quickly and gently, and avoiding harsh cleaning agents.

The seat cushion cover is removable via a hidden zipper, making maintenance easier.

To enjoy your chair for years to come:

  • For daily cleaning, use a slightly damp, clean cloth. Avoid aggressive or chemical cleaning agents; these can damage the coating.
  • For stains: dab gently with a damp cloth, without rubbing. Dabbing prevents the fibers from being damaged or the stain from spreading.
  • Ensure the chair is positioned correctly. Avoid direct sunlight, as this can cause discolouration. Do not place the chair directly against a heater or heat source.
  • Inspect the electrical components regularly. Check the cord and adapter for visible damage and only use the chair with the adapter provided.
  • Do not use sprays or coatings. Always follow our maintenance instructions for a long lasting beautiful result.
