Warranty
The Omilu Cloud® comes with:
- 2 year warranty on electrical system and mechanical frame
The Omilu Cloud® is
equipped with a CE-certified electrical mechanism, including motor,
operation and power supply. The entire mechanism is guaranteed for 2 years
under normal household use. This warranty covers:
- Defects in engine or electronics
- Problems with the operation (buttons)
- Technical failures of the internal system
In case of defects within this period, parts will be repaired free of charge or
replaced, provided that the defect is not caused by misuse, moisture,
overload or unauthorized modifications.
- 1 year warranty on material and manufacturing defects
The upholstery of the Omilu Cloud® is made of high-quality fabrics, carefully selected for a luxurious look and long-lasting comfort. We offer a 12-month warranty on
manufacturing and material defects, including:
- Loose seams
- Irregularities in the fabric structure
- Fabric defects or invisible weaving defects upon delivery
Not covered under this warranty are:
- Discoloration due to sunlight or artificial light (UV)
- Normal wear and tear, pilling or lint formation
- Stains, moisture marks or damage due to improper maintenance
- Use of aggressive cleaning agents or abrasive substances
Advice: Do not place the Omilu Cloud® in direct sunlight or UV light for long periods of time. Only use cleaning agents that are suitable for the fabric in question. Consult our maintenance instructions for optimal preservation.
All components meet European safety requirements and have been carefully tested for durability.
The guarantee applies to normal household use and correct assembly. Wear and tear due to intensive use, incorrect maintenance or personal adjustments are not covered by the guarantee. Small irregularities in the fabric structure or colour may occur with natural materials.
Submit a warranty claim?
Send an email to info@omiludesign.nl stating the order number, a description of the problem and clear photos. After assessment we will contact you about the next steps. If necessary, the chair will be picked up and returned by our logistics partner (within the Netherlands and Belgium). Outside the EU, the costs are for the buyer.
Delivery
The Omilu Cloud® is delivered free of charge to your home.
White-glove delivery is available for an additional fee (€95 NL/ €115 BE). You can select this when checking out your shopping cart.
Delivery time depends on the time of ordering – the expected delivery date is stated on the product page.
You will receive a confirmation with delivery date and time indication prior to delivery.
Is the shoe damaged upon delivery? Please send a message to info@omiludesign.nl within 48 hours and add photos to the attachment.
Return Policy
For chairs that have been ordered via pre-order, and the current offer we have a return period of 14 days after delivery. This means that you can request a return within that period.
Your return will only be accepted if the item:
- is in original condition (unused),
- is complete,
- and is in the original packaging.
You will also need the packing slip or proof of purchase. Return requests can be made via info@omiludesign.nl . Returns will only be collected by our logistics partner.
Withdrawal form
You can use our model withdrawal form, but this is not obligatory. The form is available via this link: withdrawal form . You can also return this form to us by e-mail at info@omiludesign.nl .
Returns will not be accepted without prior notification.
Maintenance instructions
The Omilu Cloud® is provided with a dirt and liquid repellent coating. This protective layer ensures that liquids are less likely to penetrate the fabric and that small accidents are easier to clean.
To enjoy your chair for a long time:
- For daily cleaning, use a slightly damp, clean cloth. Avoid aggressive or chemical cleaning agents; these can damage the coating.
- For stains: dab gently with a damp cloth, without rubbing. Dabbing prevents the fibers from being damaged or the stain from spreading.
- Ensure the chair is positioned correctly. Avoid direct sunlight, as this can cause discolouration. Do not place the chair directly against a heater or heat source.
- Inspect the electrical components regularly. Check the cord and adapter for visible damage and only use the chair with the adapter provided.
- Do not use unapproved sprays or coatings. Always follow our maintenance instructions for a long lasting beautiful result.
